RESEARCH INTERESTS

Belinda Davis, Associate Professor, is author or co-editor of three books and more than thirty articles, on topics including popular politics, gender and activism, history of everyday life, policing and terror, and consumption. Please see www.rci.rutgers.edu/~bedavis for more information.  Her graduate students have completed or are completing dissertations on topics ranging from Turkish “guestworkers” in West Germany, to identities in German-Polish borderlands, to postwar German memory and the Balkan crisis, to sexualities in twentieth-century Germany and Hungary.
