Resources for Nontraditional Students
Rutgers is dedicated to serving the needs of nontraditional students, including returning adults whose formal education has been interrupted, veterans making the transition from military service to the classroom, students needing to pursue higher education on a part-time basis, post-baccalaureate students pursuing a second undergraduate degree or major, and non-degree students.
The history department encourages you to review the requirements for history majors (http://history.rutgers.edu/undergraduate/major-minor-and-joint-requirements). We are available to assist nontraditonal students with evening advising hours and flexible class schedules. Each semester we offer a variety of evening, once-a-week, and hybrid options. Please see the online schedule of classes at http://sis.rutgers.edu/soc/ for specific courses each semester.
If you have any questions please stop by the history department in Van Dyck Hall.
