Amy C. Offner is assistant professor of history at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in twentieth-century US, Latin American, and transnational history. Her forthcoming book, Sorting Out the Mixed Economy, analyzes Cold War anti-poverty programs, social conflict, and economic thought in the United States and Colombia. The project is both a transnational history of social policy and a social history of economic thought.
