Dr. Emily Swafford, Director of Academic and Professional Affairs
American Historical Association.
Dr. Swafford heads up the AHA’s “Where Historians Work” project and spearheads the AHA’s Career Diversity programs.
Her talk, "Career Diversity for Historians", will walk us through vitally important questions for today’s profession: What does the History PhD mean today? How can the profession prepare for diverse careers? How can individual history departments help students prepare for diverse careers?
