Robin Chapdelaine: RBSC Transnational Migration

The Rutgers British Studies Center with co-sponsorship of the Center for African Studies is delighted to welcome Prof. Robin Chapdelaine (Rutgers, PhD, 2014; History, Duquesne University) to Rutgers on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 11:45 am to 1 pm for a two-part presentation. 

Prof. Chapdelaine will post a 20-minute pre-recorded presentation about her just-published book, The Persistence of Slavery: An Economic History of Child Trafficking in Nigeria (2021). This presentation will be available by Thursday April 1.  During her live synchronous zoom presentation, she will introduce us to her new research, "Transnational Migration: Sex and Trade in Fernando Po, 1940s-60s."
