2021 VIRTUAL History Honors Conference
It is an honor and a great pleasure to invite you to the Twenty-eighth Annual History Honors Conference to be held virtually on Friday, April 30th, 2021 at 1pm. Participants in the conference include History students who have written honors theses and are eligible to graduate with Honors in History. Members of the History faculty will be serving as session chairs.
We in the History Department are extremely proud of our Honors students and their achievements at Rutgers and beyond. The Honors Conference gives us an opportunity to celebrate these achievements. I hope you can attend and hear about the remarkable research these young scholars have conducted.
The History Department prides itself on being one of the best teaching departments in the university, as well as one of the most distinguished History departments in the United States. While we are a large department with many majors, we place special importance on our History Honors Program. I have been deeply impressed both by the work done by these students on their Honors theses and by the mentoring provided by their faculty advisors. I hope you will join us at the History Honors Conference on April 30th. The program will commence at 1:00 p.m., with Welcoming Remarks.
