Our first panel of the semester has Dr. Jesse Bayker and Dr. Kendra Boyd joining us from the Scarlet and Black Research Center. Being a large-scale project involving the research work of several professors here, the history of Rutgers University is deeply intertwined with slavery and anti-black racism. In this panel, we aim to discuss the project's inception, the curation of digital archives, creating educational materials, and the public history efforts seen around campus. If these topics interest you, feel free to attend and ask questions. Food and drinks will also be provided.
