The discussion will be anchored by this document, a handbook and interpretive framework produced by the NJ Historical Commission, in collaboration with scholars and public history practitioners, based on historical scholarship and community feedback. The document is designed to act as a toolkit for New Jersey educators and historic site staff who are interpreting and commemorating the American Revolution in the lead-up to the Semiquincentennial in 2026.
