Please join us for a lively conversation on Wednesday, February 5, 4-5:30pm (Van Dyck 301) with historian Beeta Baghoolizadeh (Princeton University, Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Iran and Persian Gulf Studies) who will be speaking about her new book, The Color Black: Enslavement and Erasure in Iran, which explores slavery, abolition, and anti-Black racism in Iran and Gulf World. Dr. Baghoolizadeh will be in conversation with Associate Professor Zeynep G rsel (Anthropology) and Journalism and Media Studies PhD Candidate Bahareh Badiei. Food will be provided.
