Graduate Student Bios

Nawel Kahouaji is a third-year PhD student with interests in women and gender history and early modern British studies. She intends to focus her research on the seventeenth-century through the lens of women. Her other interests would be the Mediterranean world as part of transnational studies. She received her BA and MA from the University of Western Brittany and has spent the last year of her BA in the University of Ulster as part of the ERASMUS exchange program.
