Graduate Student Bios

Lindsey Dixon is a fourth-year PhD student studying African-American history. Prior to attending Rutgers, she earned her B.A. in Political Science from Howard University, where she was a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. Her research focuses on African-American women throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Lindsey’s other research interests include digital humanities and public history.
