Cydney R. Taylor is a second-year Ph.D. student of Atlantic Cultures & the African Diaspora and European History. Her research interests include the culinary evolution of African American and West Indian communities, the effects of the British Empire on African Diasporic foods, and the migration patterns of Jamaicans in the 19th and 20th centuries.
