Andrew is a first-year PhD student in the "Science, Technology, Environment & Health” field. His research examines how flows of oil, water, capital, and technology in the modern Middle-East intersect with broader questions of empire, capitalism, and resistance with a particular emphasis on modern Iraq. Prior to beginning his PhD, Andrew earned an M.A. in Global & Comparative History at Rutgers University-New Brunswick and a B.A. in Political Science from The University of Alabama.
