Nadja Efsun Cazu is a history PhD student specializing in global Francophone intellectual history with a focus on philosophy, archaeology and psychiatry. Her side research accompanying her archival work is on the philosophy of global affective history, taking inspiration mainly from Gilles Deleuze. Her activist efforts are concentrated on friendship and sapphic love in the works of late-Ottoman, British and French feminists. She holds a BA in Philosophy, an MA in Comparative Literature and an MA in History from KU Leuven, all with distinctions.
