Walter Wexler is a PhD student with a major field in Early American history and a minor field in Science, Technology, Environment, and Health. He is also pursuing a certificate in Public Humanities. Walter received a B.A. with distinctions from Case Western Reserve University and has worked as a public historian at Revolutionary Spaces and the Boston History Company. Walter is interested in the history of the Wabanaki Confederacy, the maritime history of the Early Modern North Atlantic, and the impact that 16th and 17th century colonization of the Dawnlands had on its oceans, rivers, and swamps.
